This page gathers over 12,000 images I've saved from the old web: 6,100 clip art, 4,550 animated gifs, 760 dividers, and 750 backgrounds. Most of them reflect my own tastes and interests, with an emphasis on fantasy and 90s culture.
In 2025 I spent hundreds of hours scouring Angelfire and Tripod sites to find these. I took a break in early 2026 and learned after the fact that those hosting platforms were shut down in April. This is a catastrophic failure of internet preservation: 30 years of history, passion, and creativity lost forever.
Although the pages are gone, I can at least share the images I saved. Together they form a digital collection showcasing a rich era of internet graphics from 1996-2003. The early internet mattered. It was better. Read why here. |
