The specimen lab is more bizarre than you imagined. The walls are covered with strange curiosities: jars of deformed specimens and living creatures, dessicated fossils, reagents, elixirs, and a menagerie of insects.
Other paraphrenalia on the tables suggests experiments in progress. A whir of machinery keeps the air cool and circulating. As you scan the machine, you see something puzzling. Red eyes and a flicker of flame emanate from behind the metal grating, which looks about to fall. If you can reach it you could pull it off.
